Bio
My first stint with writing came at the tender age of four. As is typical of a four-year old lifestyle, I had been put down to nap. As was typical of my childhood, I didn’t sleep. Instead, I clumsily held a pencil in my hand and set about rewriting the ending of The Three Little Pigs in my learning-to-write notebook. The ending had displeased me and I thought I could do better.
Now, I have a column in romANTICS, the monthly publication of my home chapter, Toronto Romance Writers. It is dedicated to helping aspiring writers hone their craft, fine-tune their process, and realize their creative potential. I also work as a PRO Liaison for TRW and FTHRW and am a member of Romance Writers of America.
In the past, I have worked as an events coordinator, bartender, caterer, concert photographer, interior designer, journalist, executive assistant and even a brief stint as a model. Now I write chick lit and erotic paranormal fantasy.
In my spare time, I design jewelry and care for my cat Kali. I spend as much time as possible traveling and trying to discover the mystical secret to eating endless chocolate and scrumptious fatty foods without bloating to the size of a small country. Anyone who has any tips on how to do this (or any writing questions or suggestions), drop me a note.
